Data Distribution Drive led to a total of 19,937 collective volumes of the African-American Education Data Books, Review of African-American Education, Just the Facts, and the Two Decades of Progress being dispersed to select universities, magnet and charter schools, educational associations, social and community organizations within the DC metropolitan area. These volumes provide comprehensive, research findings about African Americans in education.
Friends of Edison consists of a group of local administrators, staff, concerned citizens, and other stakeholders who are interested in the academic performance of the African American students at a DC charter school. Input and/or suggestions are provided about issues related to current educational policies, practices, and outcomes.
